Aristotle University of Thessaloniki 2024

I am thrilled to share, that I recently had the honour of delivering a lecture at the POSTGRADUATE STUDIES IN ENVIRONMENTAL ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN program, at the prestigious Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The presentation "The Chance of Answering to the Climate Emergency: Reducing Both Operational and Embodied Carbon" fit into the wider theme of Retrofitting Thessaloniki.

A heartfelt thank you to Venetia Tsakalidou, Associate Professor at the School of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, AUTh, for inviting me and making this experience possible. Your dedication to advancing architectural education and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility is commendable.

A big thank you to the students. The opportunity to engage with such bright minds and discuss innovative approaches to sustainable architecture and urban planning was truly inspiring.

Discussing the critical role of sustainable architectural and urban design in addressing the climate emergency was an inspiring experience. It's vital that we focus on reducing both operational and embodied carbon to create a more sustainable future.

Looking forward to more such enriching experiences and collaborations in the future!
